flat lay photos

this class assignment was to create two flat lay images, one with harsh light and one with soft light. both of my photos were taken with my iphone because I do not have access to my camera right now.

here is my first image-

I took this image as I was doing my ceramics project, because I felt the soft lighting from the stained glass window was perfect for this. The light is coming from above and it is pink and warm. It gives this photo a comforting feel in my opinion.

here is my second image-

this is my image with harsh light, I took this in direct sunlight and it created harsh shadows from the pocky and the pens. I like this color theme, the book I am reading for english class and the yummy snack I was eating both had this harsh red color that I was drawn to for a harsh light photo.
